Very good imagery, Lee. ODST is a goldmine for it, and I'm a sucker for it, personally. I'm still not a huge fan of freeform poetry, but your stuff's good nonetheless.

Well, this poem was special because i wrote it right after learning that i did not make it into a prestigious writing camp held here in Singapore. (quite pissed actually because 'fall of reach', my first HBOFF was inside the portfolio) However, this stuff's getting old. How many times have I described covenant forces as mindless killing machines? Have to write a poem from their point of view on of these days....
