This is part of the Ghosts of Erebus series. I debated whether to put it at the opening of a chapter, but decided to post it alone. Hope is brightens your day Wink

Whoah, ummm... This seems, umm... Ravenesque... Are you related to Edgar Poe?

Anyways, very good. Your comment threw me off a little bit, though. Were you saying that you took that from a book? Or that you are writing a series of poems? I'm confused...

Your punishment for confusing me is a severe one. You will be hit by the Plasma Sword of Plasma Swordiness! Die! Burn in Purgatory!

Ghosts of Erebus is my current series on HBO. This poem is part of my series. Sorry for the confusion.

As for The Raven, good catch. I am a Poe fan, and the fifth line at the end of each stanza is a definite Raven influence. The Raven is easily my favorite poem.

Yes! I caught on! Maybe it's because we read the Raven in class a few week ago. But, anyways, nice job. 9.9/10 (Hey, I can't give you a perfect score! It goes against my nature!)

Very nice. I liked it. And seeing as I have read that series up to date (or so) I understood the relation.

And yeah, it didn't take me but two stanzas to catch some Poe in there. I remember that poem from a while ago. Nice. Very nice.
