Once again you show the importance of perspective to any story or any event. In canon, the humans were immensely impressed by Halo, since they were viewing it from a utilitarian perspective. They thought it was amazing how any species could construct anything so large and powerful. Yet coming at it from a divine perspective, it is easy to see how the Halo rings would be huge disappointments. Very interesting.
I quite enjoy your style as well. It's very clean and readable. Both "perspective" chapters thus far have been very retrospective, taking place mostly inside the narrators' heads. I'm interested to see how you'll handle more externalized chapters, if indeed that is the plan.
Good job.
