Another great piece, Gallagher (at least I'm assuming it's you - the name is cut off). You do the whole writing-letters-back-and-forth thing really well.

Ackerson seems to have recovered from his decapitation pretty well Razz

Very nice setup, Gallagher. You have done justice in the past to the epistolar style and continue to do so here. This conveyed all the information of a prologue in a succinct and unique way, making it both interesting and readable. I like the idea of a joint UNSC-Sangheili venture - post-war politics always interest me - and Ackerson's involvement sweetens the deal. As to an escaped test subject of a super soldier program? This has great potential.

I must say, though: the GPS errors are a little much. Particularly spelling General with a semicolon... come on, Gallagher. This was pretty short. Tighten that up.

Anyway, looking forward to where you take this. Nice work.
