Since I'm pretty biased against poems, I have to say that your poems kinda creeped me out. Since poems are supposed to be unique and all that stuff I can't really provide you with ways to improve. The only thing I can say is convert to writing stories so that I can actually think of something to comment on. Oh yea, don't do that wierd dialect thing. It burned my corneas.
...damn I'm smart! |

Yo, Jenkins. She does write regular stories. Check 'em out.
As for the poem; it was interesting. Kinda reminded me of rap. And I hate rap. But, it didn't stand out as bad, so, I deem this good. _________________ -MCC |

The Almighty Stuntmutt? Hey there. Do you remember that comic strip I sentcha' about the leather pants?
I'll get my recorder out and try playing this. It doesn't sound so good on a guitar.

Ah yes, Dave...the master of leather stuff.
And I have no idea what that poem just said. I don't know...maybe I'm just dumb... _________________ Eighty percent of human wisdom is the desire to not butt into other peoples' business, and the other twenty percent doesn't matter. |

Being in the midst of reading Huckleberry Fin for English class, the idea of reading more dialect makes me twitch. But this is still kinda...special...? In any case, I think that the representation of dialect here is at least pretty good. I didn't find it that hard to follow, though the dialect almost made me laugh.
In concurrence with MCC, I have to say that Jenkins has to get around this site more before making a call like that. Jillybean rocks like...something that rocks alot.

I'm compiling my favourite quotes from the reviews starting from now. This is because I can't fit them on my signiture:
| Quote: | "Do not call me your "homie" again or I will strangle you." -A Halo Fan...natic
"The Code is what separates us from the animals. It's not opposable thumbs like all them rookie scientists say" -Nick Kang |
These are the only two so far minus my own at the bottom of my sig. (Nick's is on my sig too, I didn't include mine in the compilation because I thought it would look big-headed )
I'm going to go back and find some from the last few threads.
To qualify for a place on the Sushi's "Best Quotes Thingy" the quote must make me laugh...
That's it really...
I'll randomly post the list on random posts.
Thank you! |

Lol.
On second thought, you should put your funny quotes on the list as well, because people look at your list to get a good laugh, they shouldn't have to miss out on the funny stuff you said.
Oh and do funny quotes from the stories count? Like in "Master Chief is da bomb!!!", the author says that his story is as good as any other story in this database in the post scripts. I think that should be a funny quote! |
