Nice.

The pace calmed down a bit here and I liked that. I thought it was interesting and the dialouge moved well.
For some reason I heard Sam Elliot's voice in my head when reading Everett's words. Maybe what you intended, maybe not. Still good.

I guess my only question would be why Everett intends to take only himself and Raoul out into the city (maybe the Texan too, probably). That will probably be answered in the next chapter, but if I have all that hardware, it's not going to do me any good if I don't have hands to use them.
