Make up your mind, Solidus. Are you gonna tip your hat or take it off?
Now seriously. Hmm. It could have flowed better in a couple places and used some different words.
But, I liked it. It was well written and had a great rhyming scheme. Keep up the good poetry. _________________ -MCC |

Nice job. You really captured the hopelessness of it. Good emotion.

Thanks for the comments. I'd forgotten that I had written this. I guess that's what I get for writing at 11 pm. It might be awhile before my next poem. Sometimes I'll have an idea and I'll like it and - if I can find a way to make it rhyme - I'll make a poem out of it. I'll try and think of something next time I'm out at the bus stop. Untill then, I'll just work on "The Lost" part 3.
Thanks.
Bye. |

Now THAT was fun!
It goes along with a nice little music. Just strum a guitar along while singing random notes. I'm sure you'll notice the tune forms quite quickly, and it sounds quite nice.

Hmm... I think I'll try that, Dave. As soon as I find a place to buy guitar strings. Two of mine are broken. |

Buy some Ernie Ball guitar strings - they're quite good, I assure you, but they're only made for electrics.
And about broken strings, take them off, NOW! The neck, without proper tension on both sides, will twist, and you'll ruin a good guitar.
I'm looking for a tune you guys would know that would fit this poem - it has a certain rhythm that I'm looking for.
- Dave.
Post Script - I play on Ernie Ball "Skinny Top Heavy Bottom" strings, with a 10, 13, 17, 30, 42, 52 guage. The tension on the top ones are like spaghetti, but the lower ones have lots of meat. If you play lead guitar, they're quite good. Meaty rhythm guitar, and easy bending on top for lead flexibility. Now, I just need a bigger and better amp. |
