A quick author's note:
Firstly: as it is conceivable (though unlikely) that one could play through Halo 3 in its entirety and have no clue what I'm talking about, I will direct confused parties' attention here.
Secondly: To all my dedicated reader (heh), I will be continuing Where Sheep May Safely Graze soon. This was originally going to be written around Christmas time, but I only even got around to starting it quite recently.
Finally: Much of the confusion in the story is predicated on a consistent misunderstanding between the two characters which, as any student of Latin would know, is not really possible. In Latin, (as in most other languages, I believe), a distinction is made between the second person singular (tu) and the second person plural (vos). However, Marcus was well soused - and in any case, this is an English story, so there it is.

| Very well done, Arthur. It's really only loosely related to Halo, but it was still very enjoyable, and as always, very well written. I only saw one typo, a you instead of your, I believe. I particularly like the ambiguousness with which you handled the Librarian. Anyways, looking forward to the next part of Where Sheep May Safely Graze. |

Just as a bit of EXTREME nitpicking:
The soldier says, "by the way." As Jesus is not born yet, that phrase would not have existed. Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Light, and the Truth." From there, "by the way," was a way of saying, "By God," and somehow (I would actually love to know how THIS happened) became a way of saying, "also," or, "I forgot to mention."
Just saying. Otherwise, I love the way your ancient characters talk. It delights me. _________________ ...now that's some gritty shizzle.

Thanks a lot, kr. I appreciate it.
To you, too, Az. And I must plead ignorance on that count. Cool to know though. Funny how such a cardinal statement came to be a throwaway idiom.
As much as I'm sure everyone loves bitching about lack of time, I'm swamped. I'll try to get to some other stories this weekend.

| Time prevents me from giving a decent review, I am afraid, but having just greedily consumed HBO's (no, the other one) masterful series Rome I felt drawn into this story from the start. Your characters are believable and I found myself once again sitting among the Roman legions and watching history unfold; truly a well written story. |

Commander Demitri Wolf! It's been a while, no? Good to see you back... even better to see a positive review. Yea, Rome was amazing. Even if they took a few liberties, it was the most accurate depcition I'd ever seen in a work of fiction... and just top notch storytelling all around.
And thanks to you, Sev. That means a lot, coming from you.
