Great plot idea. I'm very intrigued by this Lieutenant Dan mentality being placed on a young girl... Hopefully you'll take this story far across the galaxy with the kind of scope Halo 3 has given us. A friend and I played through Campaign again last night, and it gets better each time. For such a personal sort of story, I'd say you've done this expertly. Most Halo stories about a single protagonist with a very human atmosphere are pretty...well, I won't say anything undeserved. You've done a good job telling this story so far. If you find time, read my series "Storms of Grevahdi." It's the story of a battle taking place on the world in the multiplayer map "Sandtrap" in H3. All my characters are original, though I may include the Arbiter as a cameo late in the series. I will probably have six parts, since that is a nice even number and it worked for Star Wars (sort of--I thought so, anyway). Good luck with your story...

Thanks for the compliments. I'm aiming for 3 "books" in this story, each being 15-20 chapters. I've got maybe 6 done and over 3,000 words. I gotta speed up.
