If you have read my Mission From SATU series, you should know that although Ghosts of Erebus has some of the same characters, it is not meant to "mesh" perfectly with SATU. For instance, the young intelligence officer (David Sagus) mentioned in this chapter was Ackerson's pilot in SATU. Also, some characters may die in this fic (which is supposed to have happened before SATU) who showed up in that fic.
Just so you know.

That was good. i know you're trying to give the background info inorder to jump to the plot of the story, but all the summary is a little boring.

Not too many views or comments on this one. I will continue this story, so I hope those who have read the prologue will also read "Postcards from Hell." I guess the week that they release Halo 2 isn't the best time to continue a series. Can't complain: I've also been playing rather than reading and reviewing.

Very nice. I saw the connection from Mission from SATU.
Nice the way you set it, too. Gave it a good amount of... mystery to keep me interested. Could have used a sprinkle more detail, but it was alright as it was.
Personally, that explenation didn't bore me at all.
Overall, well done. _________________ -MCC |

Chuckles, My Hero. I'm going to print this off and read it before I go to bed. Usually a good, satisfying story at bed-time is great for the mind, as well as a cup of tea.
It gives you the most gratifying nightmares possible.

I drink tea, too. I like to read at night as well. Well Dave, we aren't as different as I thought. I prefer Chai, myself. Or some good mint. Or whatever else I happen to pick up at the super market.
'Cept, I read stuff like Clancy or Nylund or Dietz or Lewis or whatever. _________________ -MCC |

Thanks Dave and MCC. I was afraid that this one might slip by unnoticed. I hope to have part three sometime this weekend.

Well, Echinacea Orange is pretty good for coughs, and Ginseg or other Oriental herbs taste great without suguar or honey. But yes, Mint is great for those days when you feel "Urk - How am I supposed to sleep with those exams tomorrow!" Pretty good, uh-huh.
And about the books, Well, Clancy's Patriot games were kinda funny. Remember how Jack Ryan was about to pull the trigger on that guy with the gun in his mouth? Thrilling. And how Sally kept saying "Peccalins?"
Yes, Ludlum's good - except sometimes he gets a little racist. In fact, usually Terrorists are attributed toward middle eastern and far eastern nations. *Sigh* It's funny, but if a White guy joins Al-Queada, I'm sure he'll be branded as a 'rebel' not a 'terrorist.'
And Chuck, this one's too good to slip by - nothing deserves to slip by, NOTHING! And I like the description of the "Desk-puke-brains" - it made me laugh.
