I actually recommend putting this series on hiatus, then focusing on getting some short stories out for now. You have the skill and the care enough to produce a great story, but no one's reading it--build up something of a reputation, hard to do, by getting one-shot stories out, post reviews for other writers, etc.
It really was a great story, and I enjoyed it. |

That is great advice, Meep. Do some quality shorts that get good reviews and attract attention, while at the same time writing a lot of reviews yourself. That is exactly how I got started. Once people decided that they liked my short stuff, they were willing to read longer and longer submissions. You might possibly reply that doing such a thing isn't necessary because reviews mean nothing to you, but we all know that we post on here to get a response.

Points taken, thanks for the advice. I guess I could postpone the series for a while and get out some ideas that have been bouncing around in my head. High school English leaves plenty of drool time to think of high quality Halo fanfics!
Of course, I'll do that after I post my thrilling and awesome (Heh, famous last words) fanfic this friday. Drop by and read!
