Pretty darn good, Cold is right, why isn't everyone reading this!?
I have a crit though, you referred to 'ammo' in the narrative, I think abbreviations only belong in dialogue as I see no reason why a writer should abreviate as they have all the time in the world!

Man I know how you feel, through my own story and my experiences in the 3D modelling community, do not spite people who have a lot of success, they have been around and have had their name established in the community through hard work and you can do the same, just hang in there and keep turning out top notch stuff, sooner rather than later you'll have your own contingent of loyal readers.
