And I'll say it again, great job. Writing the story more from Half-Jaw's point of view revitalizes the story, especially when you extend the storyline by describing events which the Arbiter didn't witness (e. g. the conversation between Half-Jaw and Truth, and the Brute's attack on Half-Jaw).

If only you could write faster. . . but look who's talking, since I haven't even finished the second chapter in my own fanfic after the better part of a year Wink

Crikey that was good. Best thing I've read for a few days, I noticed some errors, mainly like 'dead' instead of 'deal' but I will definately go back and read the whole series. I like how you tied this into the game, it really makes the story more intriguing!

Loved it! it was simply brilliant! i found it nice that you put the arbiter in the story line simply as a charactar that noone knows what he was thinking, i hope that maybe the next chapter will focus on what happend to him though.

No worries...work on Commander is progressing, albeit slowly. I thought about ending it here, to be honest, and I thought about ending it at the end of Halo 2, but in the end I just fell back on my original plan: bring them through Halo 3.

For the moment, though, I'm a bit stuck, so you get Dies Irae this update instead.

By the way, HF2006, what did you think of Dies Irae? Probably better if you wait for this week's update and post a review on that chapter, though. So never mind.
