Plunking twenty chapters and thirty some odd thousand words on here all at once is not the way to get your story read. Most people will not even bother with something that large. They'll just skip it and read a fic that won't take them hours to finish. Large stories are fine, but posting them all at once scares off readers.
If you were just wanting to get this published somewhere on the web, then fine, you achieved your goal. But if you really want it to get read and commented on, you need to post it a chapter or two at a time. That makes it small enough for people to check it out (as I said, few people will even bother with something this big) and also gives you a chance to build up a following of consistent readers.
Good luck and welcome to HBOFF

That is scary big, but at least you block paragraphed. Although if no one reads your story it won't really matter. Try re-sending it in smaller parts, then maybe people will read it, ?/10. _________________ Randomly invading your fanfiction since 2006. |

| Not much to say that Chuckles and Spartan006 didn't already point out...nobody has time to read thirty thousand words. My dialup would shut down before I got through the first 7K, as I know from experience. However, what I saw didn't look too bad. If you want to get some good reviews, just divide it up and send it back in. |

Oh, my God.
I've taken a trip through the looking glass...
Really 'Writers of Macerr', you should have shrunk it down, just a little. There is something called chapter dropping, and you should give it a go.
Honestly, I didn't read it. Too long. |

Thanks for the comments. I didn't realize how long it was until i copied it into a word doc and saw it was 68 pages.
I'll be putting up the chapters in segments of 2 from now on. _________________ The ending of I Love Bees still makes me cry. |

| You know, when most people get told something like this, they either don't answer or else go "ZOMG UR SO MEEN I'M AM LEAVING HTE INTARWEBZ RITE NOW N U CAN GO FK URSELF BTCH". You actually came out here and said that you would resubmit it in pieces. I really appreciate that you can do that. |

For a start, great job, to both of you. However, I'd like it if you guys could submit it in segments, or, per chapter each time you submit here.

Not a whole lot more to add, it would be a much better idea to submit this in smaller chunks. You could've perhaps put line spaces in the big paragraph at the beginning of Chapter 1 to break it up and make it flow more smoothly.
Despite that this story reads very well! |
