I'm letting this one go, this time... but there's enough clearly-Halo-related fiction that folks want to write that a vague poem which could be about your girlfriend committing suicide, for all I know, really doesn't need to be here. (Yeah, I realize it could be about a pair of Spartans. But it could also not be.)
Thanks. |

Yeah, I didn't really see the connection either... Maybe an extra stanza to explain would have gone a long way? |

Man, I knew it was too vague.. But I figured if I added more info to the poem it would detract from the mysteriousness of it, but lol I guess it isn't really a good idea to leave my readers in the dark. I'll be more careful about this from now on.
Well basically this ties in to my series Glass and Steel (should have referred to that in the title, maybe..) Ren is the speaker here, and he's currently stranded in a wasteland decimated my Covenant warships. And oh yeah his girlfriend is missing. So this poem is basically conveying his frustration, confusion, and pain.
Anyway, I hope that clears things up and thanks for passing my story through despite it being so vague this time. |

Oh yeah, I remember reading some of your Glass and Steel, and connection through another story, should've kinda said it ties it with it in a writer's note.
But it was good.
Keep it up, man! |

Hey, this was pretty good - I liked it. You have talent with poetry.
I wouldn't have really seen the connection if you hadn't explained it, but I guess it's fine.
Can't really say anything else, nice job. |

| This is pretty strong stuff, but I'm not used to seeing that level of power in something about that particular topic in someone who is fourteen, out of curiousity, are you actually fourteen, or is that SN out of date? |

Yeah, joined here a year ago I guess and I hadn't realized that I would grow older, and my SN would stay the same. Haha so I'll forever be Random 14-Year-Old, even ten years from now when we're all writing about Halo 6.
But yep, I'm 15 now, to turn 16 in two months. |
