Very good. I'll have to read the rest of the series.

Edit: Okay, I've read the rest of the series and it's awsome. Just one question though, is this before the war with the humans or after (or during) because I still cant tell.

Wow. That was the best I've read in AGES. Keep up the good work!

Liked the way you tied in the Spec Ops Commander's morale speech in the Phantom (is that a habit of yours?). Remember: Elite names have the apostrophes IN FRONT of the surname: 'Fulsamee not Fulsamee'. And Eraa won't call Orna the "son of a Sharquoi" because they have the same mother. Not sure why you put in the knife 'Vutbugree (?) gave him, cos it didn't do much and didn't mean much either. I thougth it was supposed to block the Energy Blade or something, but it didn't do nothing. Odd that he had it with hi for six years too, but that can be explained in the fact that it was given to him by his idol etc.

Loved the action. Didn't know how cool the Fist of Rukh was till you used it. Liked the way Orna 'Fulsamee's origin was revealed too, though really it's Eraa who's the main character.

Give us more!

This was really, really well done.

Your Covenant speech and society was wonderful. You've created a rich atmosphere with strong leads who the reader can really connect with.

You spelled Rukt wrong, but meh. Otherwise, very good piece.

Thanks for reminding me, Dagorath. I haven't read the books in a while, so I forgot where the apostrophe went.

I've seen people call their brothers a son of a bitch, actually. Still, I get your point.

It's 'Vutbrugee, but it will mean more in later chapters.

FOrunnER, this latest chapter is set about ten years before the discovery of humanity.

Mainevent, are you sure that it's Rukt? My bad, thought it was Rukh.

Anyway, glad that evryone seems to like it! Next chapter is Commander: Hierarch.

Well, I hope the knife does have some really cool significance. If it turns out to be an artifact that shows the location of the Sacred Rings (which explains how the Covies got to Halo) then it'll really suck.... Very Happy

Laughing That would be such a d.e.m.! But no, it isn't. You won't see it for another few chapters. I'll say right now that it isn't 'special'. It's just a knife. But it keeps popping up. It will become more important to Eraa the further the story progresses.
