I like it! Very, very cool. The portrail of the Forerunner and the Master is very slick. The Mind is so evil. Nice explanation of Gravemind too.
Beware, though. You contradict yourself. You say that:

Yet Reclaimers are

Another thing: if all the Covenant races were around to build the rings, then they were definitely "sentient", and so would have been wiped out by the Halos anyway. Big mistake.
Remember to use the Code. You know what it is?
Nice effort nonetheless. |

I know you told me NOT to read the mind and the master, but I found this to be very interesting, it got my attention and kept hold of it. I love the idea of reclaimers being the warrior race, and the Covenant being the slaves. Something confuses me though, you said the prophet of Regret was the one who spoke to both the Mind and the Master, is Truth, Regret, and Mercy just ranks in the Covenant hierarch?
All around, I enjoyed it very much. |

| Well, as I posted this story about eighteen months ago, I don't actually remember. There's no canonical info on the subject, but I think I intended this Prophet of Regret to be a different Prophet than the one we punch the face off of in Halo 2. |

Alright, guys. Good to see enthusiasm about past threads, but carry on the hoo-ha in other places, if you would.
Just a casual reminder. Check out the latest addition I've made to rules at the top of the forum if you have questions.
Thanks. _________________ -MCC |
