Congratulations to everyone who made the top 117! I'll post the others soon on the HBOFF forums.
Can I ask that you not post any drabbles to the HBO fanfiction page, as they're just too short to be viable. Thank you. |

- Heh, looks like mine didn't escape notice.
I'm glad I got into the 117's top. Heh. Well, there's not much I can do with a hundred and seventeen words, but I thought this contest was fun.
Congrats to the winner, and thanks to Stunt and Jill, it's been fun. Hey, maybe in the future we could try something like this again? Make it an annual thing? That would be even more fun!

| Hah, well we'll see. I had a great time doing this and reading every entry. Stunt and I had huge disagreements over who would meet the final 117. If you're not there, it's just because one of us managed to shout louder than the other . . . |

Some very nice work there...
Although, the "Spartan Discretion is Advised" is plain... disturbing. |

There were some that were so good I laughed out loud. Some made me shiver, particularly the Flood related ones. The format works really well for those spooky, directionless rambles that the Flood seem to inspire.
I really liked Memento, one of my personal faves.
(It gets to be worrying though, that Wu's news post unintentionally hit 117 words . . . |

- Gosh!
That's scary as well! Perhaps there's a little connection? Man, this could easily become a trend!
Just think of that, all the comments becoming a hundred and seventeen words in length! That would be a very... very... very, uh, very interesting day.
I have to say, it's really good that people come out and show off their creative genius. Even if they don't win prizes, it's still fun to participate in contests, and that's what they're for. I really enjoyed this contest, and it was fun, to say the least, and I really do hope we'll have another.

*Grumble*I should have won*Grumble*
I read the entries as though they were ranked, but after seeign the thread turns out that number 19 or something came first. Oh well, I liked number 1. |

#79. That's my lucky number from now on.
Fun contest, even though I had forgotten about it until Louis posted that reminder one day before the deadline. It was a really cool way to take an idea that had been in my head for awhile and take up the challenge of compressing it into 117 words.
This has GOT to turn into an annual thing. That'd be awesome. |

In a note to Jilly, one of mine has the name and the title inverted. No biggy, just saying.
I really love all of these. There are some really great ones here. I am very surprised at the diversity of what came out of this. |

Yes!!! I got three in the top 117! YES! Aside from bragging, I agree with random 14yrold about the annual comp. I doubt it'll happen though... |
