So, will this and the other transmission be a series of some sort? Or are you going to tie this into a normally-written kind of a story? The problem with these kind of 'episodes' is that when the novelty wears off, you're left wondering if there's anything more to it. That is, is there any meat left on them bones? (Gawd, that's horrible.)

Edit: It seems I did miss something. Upon reading your first installment of this series, I still have no idea what's going on. You sure are doing a damn good job of making everything speculative. I can only assume the Spartans rebeled and Linda was the person sniping in the vent.

In regards to the Tangos in the first installment, you got me.

I'll throw down some more story for you.

John was sent in on a mission with the team, and told they were to assess and contain any contamination at the Hyperion Complex by activating the facility's failsafe. But, upon arriving, they were ambushed, the team began being wiped out, and the real containment team (an aircraft of some sort) to wipe everything out. John and one other escaped, but everyone else was killed.

The person reading the reports was General Patterson. Who was, after his contact with Cortana, in grave danger (she had been secluded and firewalled). She told him to run and he ran. Two SWAT-like teams were waiting in the Terminal (the only place to get out of the city quickly and cheaply without a car [which he couldn't keep for obvious reasons]). But the SWAT teams weren't there for him, they were there for John, who they suspected would meet him there (through the now released Cortana) - More on that later in the series-. He showed up, they attacked, but something went wrong. There was a sniper (glad you suspected Linda, because it was ) and the teams were pretty much wiped out (I think I left one alive.

After that and you've got to wait.

I find that, sometimes, transcript style can do more by revealing nothing than an entire ajdective filled paragraph can.
