Funny. Looks like we'll have to wait another year to find out what happens.

Heh, I remember your first one. Funny stuff, and this one was amusing as well, though I have to admit it was easy to deduce from the beginning that the Psychologist was going to shoot the kid.

Careful of some GPS mistakes, and my God, don't use AN's.

Good job.

Oh yeah, I've had a day like this.

When I played CS, and I was a forward, this kid kept bugging me when I was in a fight, and he behaved exactly as the one in here.

And that's the reason that I couldn't concentrate on the game, and that led up to the series of events that got me demoted from first forward to the guy that carries extra ammo for the leader, and also cost us a tournament, and netted me a place on our clan's pig list, and a suspension.

I can still remember the look on my leader's face after I walked out of that tournament because I couldn't take it anymore. The next day at school, during class, he almost FIRED me because of it. But he chose to be 'compassionate' and just demoted me to the lowest position possible, suspended me for a month, and kept my name on the pig list for a long, long, long, time.

All because of one kid sitting beside me in the pay-to-play place.

That was pretty good. I enjoyed it, and it did relate some of the problems I have had in the past with Newbies. Though, all of the folks that I have actually trained through to being pretty damned good players never turned out to be that annoying; forgetful at times, yes, and creative of new terms, yes, but never like that. I suppose I should consider myself lucky.

This was a good read though. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Though there were the occasional GPS mistakes. So always watch out for those.

I only chuckled once though--briefly at the end after having taken everything in. Like Russ, I could see where it was going. Keep it up--whether it be another like this, or a continuation of your Longsword series.

This was hilarious. I can totally relate to everything that the right guy went through. I have a little bro with friends just like that.

"Hey why didn't my missile launcher hit you? I heard it beep! If this were Super Slayer assault it would have blown you away!!!

I hate them...

Yeah, I've almost gotten kicked out of my CS clan for that.

About it, Main, well, remember that the reason that I wasn't kicked out of my clan was because I was their best forward. This was shortly before I took to Halo, and became team sniper.

Yeah, that's my day like this. The best part of this is that, well, you can really identify with these situations.

Most of all, I can identify with it here. People who don't use proper grammar, sniff, sneer, and don't read the guidelines, and then say, "im n00w heer so dont xpekt me 2 now teh code!!!!" And such.

It really is aggravating. I can identify with every line. How people make stupid remarks, make stupid things, and then net the smart people in trouble, as the first one portrayed. Yeah, it's the stupid people that end up costing the smart ones.

- Dave.

By the way, Ster, I'm doing a different take on this: something similar in idea, but very different in application, plot, and concept. Russ and I will fill you in on the details later. Catch you on MSN.

Nice job, especially with the degenerating dialogue between the two kids. Good, subtle humor. I don't think that the ending was all that it could have been. The idea of it was funny, but it was not written funny--if that makes any sense to you Very Happy The psychiatrist acted too sane after clipping the kid. It might have been more humorous to show the effects on the shrink beyond just pulling the trigger.

Even so, this was one of the best comedies that I've read on here.

After seeing it, I probably would have had more dialogue between the shrink and the boys, as well as making it a little longer. There were some points here I thought could have been made extremely funny, but just came off as humorous the way it was.

PS: On a side note, we're up to 150 mph sustained winds and its heading right for me! YIPPEE!
