Very impressive... this is coming together very well eventhough i am confused on certain parts. Maybe I just need to read it all of it together. Is the ODST Captain named Helljumper, me?

Okay, I'm feeling left out in that everyone knows who Colonel Ackerson is. Could you please explain, Chuckles? Oh, and how come everyone uses SPARTANs called Linda and Kelly?

To answer your questions, Conrad:

Ackerson is a Colonel in the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). He doesn't like the SPARTAN program because, among other things, it takes funding away from his own SpecOps projects.
Kelly and Linda are Spartans that figure prominently in the novels. Kelly is a close friend of the Masterchief, and the fastest of the Spartans. Linda is the best sniper.
