Pretty damn good Chuck. Honestly, no real complaints.

I only saw that Halo tie-in with the glassed planets.

Thanks dark. Yeah, although I had Halo in mind when I was writing it, I realized as I was finishing it that I had no Halo reference yet. So I threw in one that couldn't be mistaken for anything else.

That was intruiging. I liked it even though I am not into poetry.

Keep up the good work.

I am not, as we all know, a big fan of poems. But this one was worth a read. And it did not disapoint.

Well, I saw a sort of Halo reference beside the direct abd obvious one you sliped in there. The whole death and battle thing struck me as soldiers figthing the Covenant. But, of course, that was because this was posted on a Halo FF site.

Keep it up.

Yeah, I almost didn't put the "planet glassing" part in. It already felt like a Halo poem without it. But I decided to give it the obvious reference, lest someone say that it had nothing to do with Halo.

Thanks for the comment MCC.

Woah, symbols!

Nice, man. I love the idea of drinking from a waterless well; reminds me of what Shakespeare would say.

Three thumbs up for Chuckles!

The only thing is now, is that I'm going to go upstairs, turn on all the lights, and then hide under the table.

You are officially the scariest author here. Excellent symbolism, word use, all top notch.

sigh...at all seems so hopeless after you read a good Chuckles piece.
