We'd like to apologize for the wait. There's been a little last-minute dissent over the status of one winner, but it should be hammered out (hopefully) by midnight EST. Winners will be posted as soon as possible.
Again, sorry for the wait. _________________ Superstite es non sole;

It's alright, I understand how these things happen now and then.
Although it's 12:30 EST and still no winner. |

Key word: hopefully. Don't rush them, I'm pretty sure only cash bribes will help you win, not telling them to hurry up.
I mean, why would our illustrious judges need to hurry, their divinity will bring us the decision at the right moment. |

It takes time. The decision was actually made when Raspberry posted that, but we needed to write a bit about the stories and writers as well as the judges. Then, we had to send that to Wu. And then, the entries have to be formatted properly from word processor to whatever code Wu uses for HBO.
Now, though, it's out of our hands. But DO NOT go bothering Wu about it. He's doing us a big favor helping host this as it is, and he's had bad experiences with fanfic writers pestering him in the past. _________________

Congrats to everyone who placed in the FFiH contest (especially the newcomers!), and everyone who submitted. Submitting is an intensely nerve-wracking experience, and even if you didn't win...the fact that you were willing to put yourself out there speaks volumes. Good volumes. Not like that dusty, outdated copy of Encyclopedia Britannica in your grandmother's basement.
The results are now up on the HBO frontpage, but I'll post the link anyway. I hope many of you stick around. This site is an awesome resource for writers and fans of Halo literature/canon alike.
Also...Judges...would it be okay if we created comment/feedback topics in this forum, since there's no archive equivalent system set up? I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in constructive criticism.
